Our Values

About Us

Tony Bailey’s House of Comfort is a FULL SERVICE funeral home, borne out of the closure of House of Comfort in 2017. House of Comfort started in 2006 by Carlene Colquhoun and George Bailey in Mandeville, Manchester. In 2010, Carlene migrated, resulting in the closure of House of Comfort in 2017.

Tony Bailey’s House of Comfort is headed by Managing Director, George Bailey and now has offices in Santa Cruz, St. Elizabeth and Mandeville, Manchester. Mr Bailey has been working in the Funeral industry for over sixty (60) years, working then for his father’s funeral home, Bailey’s Funeral Home.

The grounds on which Tony Bailey’s House of Comfort is now housed, was previously the home of Bailey’s Funeral Home. Mr Bailey, was introduced to the industry by his father, George Bailey Sr., with who he worked for over 40 years, until his death in 1998.

Tony Bailey’s House of Comfort is a FULL SERVICE funeral home, which carries its own morgue, providing ease of access for their client’s needs.
